THE 800 DIVISION

The boot camp 800 Division at Great Lakes, Illinois is for future SEAL and SWCC. This first step in training teaches traditional Navy info. such as rank, customs, and watchstanding. It has more physical training and pool time than normal divisions.

The Naval Special Warfare Preparatory School at Great Lakes, Illinois takes place after recruit training. Future SEAL and SWCC endure intense physical training for nine weeks to prepare them for their ‘A’ school in San Diego, California.
