    Using MyFitnessPal I’ve been seeing that I’m getting 50% from carbs, 20% protein and 30% fat. Am I doing this wrong? Shouldn’t my protein be higher than my fat ratio?

    It’s not “wrong” per say, but it’s definitely not optimal for what you’re trying to do. I would shoot for 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight and adjust your fat % accordingly so that you maintain the same amount of calories.

    1g protein has 4 calories
    1g fat has 9 calories
    1g carbs has 4 calories
