  • Decreasing swim time?

More of two questions in one post. First question, during the PST, can you kick off the wall? Second, how do you properly decrease swim time? I'm fine on the breastroke, but CSS has me beat, I feel I'm making no progress. I'm a strong swimmer, lifeguarding for 3 years, I swim my laps every morning, I'm told I have the proper technique down, *yes, I swim all the time, so saying 'swim more' won't cut it*. Carido, no problem. Speed, there's a problem. Is there anyway I can make myself faster in the water using the CSS?

More interval/sprint work and focusing on form. A little goes a long way.

Post in the swim section. Inside that is a critique area. Put a video up of at least 100Y and we can help you.
