  • Fins

I am a varsity swimmer for my high school, and I have to buy fins for training. Is there a type of fin similar to the ones used in BUDs, that do not require you to wear boots with?

    Thanks,

the fins I use are IST deep sea scuba diving military fins "rubber rockets" amazon search them you will find them. They are very stiff and take awhile to get used to be carefulnot to hurt your ankles

If you use those fins, you absolutely have to phase them in slowly. Your ankles will not be able to handle distance with them immediately. Not worth getting hurt trying to work fins in too quickly.

Throughout your pipeline you will use Scuba Pro Jet Fins, and you'll use booties with them. You can try and use duck feet if you really don't want to wear booties, but they won't get you to the same point as the Jet Fins will IMO.
