  • NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE AQUATICS TRAINING - Virginia Beach

NAVY SEAL & SWCC SCOUT TEAM
Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story, Va.

    *Swim instruction 1-3 p.m. Monday-Friday*

The Naval Special Warfare Aquatics Training was established to prepare potential candidates for the demands of the NSW Training Pipeline. The candidates will learn basic and advanced swimming techniques, along with the technical aspects that will be required of them to make it through the rigorous training. The class is taught by a civilian swim coach with a life-long, extensive resume and students will be closely monitored by qualified SEAL & SWCC Scout Team mentors, who can also field any questions about getting into and through the process. Candidates will be expected to maintain a high degree of professionalism, positive mental attitude and a strong determination to succeed. The Scout Team reserves the rights to dismiss anyone from the program if their attitude or respect become an issue or they disrupt the class. This is not a class for beginning swimmers; 1-on-1 sessions are not available. This voluntary and free program is extremely challenging and only those individuals that are highly motivated and seek a CAREER in Naval Special Warfare are invited.

    PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

    - Participants must already know how to swim
    - Civilian participants must sign a Hold Harmless Agreement with the Scout Team (parents must sign if under age 18)
    - Bring your own swim trunks and water bottle
    - Any current medical issues MUST BE reported to the swim coach and the Scout Team before entering the water
