  • Seeking admin response: Lens implant for color vision

Can someone please confirm current policy regarding lens implants of any kind? My vision is perfect, but a tinted lens implanted in one eye can facilitate passing the Ishihara without compromising visual acuity in any way. I searched MANMED and it appears to show ICL is approved after 6 months post op. But a post on this forum from 2014 contradicts this. Can an admin confirm? Specifically, will ICL of a color vision lens be considered since the language in MANMED only mentions ICL in regard to regular vision, not color deficiency?

    Thank you.
