Does ADD disqualify you from a SEAL contract. When I was 12 I was diagnosed with ADD and I haven't taken medicine since then I only took it a couple of times and I've graduated from high school. Problem is I never got a doctor to take me off I just got off of it myself. I can get my current doctor to state that I haven't taken medicine since 2012 when I started with him and he hasn't seen any effects of ADD. Thanks

Just don't mention it to the recruiter or on your medical stuff for MEPS.

I was just recently in the same boat as you. I had to obtain a note from my current doctor, stating the last time I took it and why I was prescribed. Also had to get a note from two other doctors who I had also seen about it. I would advise you tell your recruiter about it also, because they will find out. I got cleared from the ADD, so it is not impossible to get it cleared with meps. Just be honest with your recruiter.
