  • SWCC BCT/CQT Swimming

    Greetings,

I thought someone posted this question, but for some reason I can't find it. If its posted elsewhere- I apologize in advance. Anyways here it goes. What are kinds of swimming evolutions/strokes that go down during SB "a" school? Breast and CSS are stressed in every article I have been able to get my hands on, but is that it?

As far as distance and time duration, what is asked of the trainee?Or what can they expect?

I asked one of our SWCC swim instructors to answer your question. Here's his response:
"He is correct the Combat side stroke is the primary stroke used. However,
other strokes are used during training to include freestyle (crawl), rescue
crawl, breast, back. His primary focus should be CSS and being extremely
    calm in the water."
