How competitive of a candidate for officer slot at buds?

My last thread din't work so I have to repost it...From 1-10, 10 being the best, how competitive would a candidate with the following resume be? Just curious to see if all the talk about getting a spot is very difficult for an averga guy with a degree, or if its very difficult for someone like this. I realize there might be some politics that goes in to the selection as well.

    -PST: 9:45/115/100/25/8:30
    -3.5 GPA
    -Political science major/ spanish minor
-Graduated high school with a bilingual diploma English/French (attended all of grade school and high school in the french school system) therefore fluent in 2 languages + ability in spanish
    - recieved scholarship to division II university for football, team captain senior year

Swim time needs to come down.
Also need to get some good letter of recommendations from current and former SEAL Officers. The more you can forge good relationships, the better chance you will have. Remember that it is a very small community and if you can convince some guys to have the right stuff and they are willing to put in a good word for you it will go a long way.

For OCS they are basically taking a shot in the dark on you and picking guys who are pretty much untested to go ahead and lead straight out of the gates.

I'm guessing you didn't apply for this March 1, 2012 board? If so you have some time to get ready for the next one, but start sooner than later.

Also check out usnavyocs.com, there is a SPECWAR section and you can see where you match up.

Check out the below link to the SEAL Officer Comunity Manager (OCM) page, always the most up to date information on the application process.
