MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENT

COMMAND MASTER CHIEF PETTY OFFICER (SEAL) BRITT SLABINSKI

On May 24, 2018 Command Master Chief Petty Officer (SEAL) Britt K. Slabinski was awarded the Medal of Honor, our nation's highest award for bravery in combat. The award was given for his heroic actions during the March 2002 ambush (now known as the Battle of Roberts Ridge) described as one of the most savage and controversial battles of the Afghan war.

On February 29, 2016 The Medal of Honor, our nation's highest award for bravery in combat was awarded to Master Chief Petty Officer (SEAL) Ed Byers. We asked Mater Chief Petty Officer(SEAL) Ed Byers, what it means to serve to our country during dangerous and covert operations.

On April 8, 2008 Master-At-Arms Second Class Michael Monsoor was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. He made the ultimate sacrifice for the love of his teammates and country. He embodied the true spirit of Naval Special Warfare.
