  • Recommended exercise programs and diets.

Hello, I honestly do not know if anyone else has asked this or not, but I looked and I really could not find what I was looking for. I am sort of new on here though, and I am not on here often.

I am currently 16, going to be going on 17 here soon, and I am already in pretty decent shape. I can do 100-plus push-ups and curl-ups, and I am not a bad swimmer (my opinion on that will probably change during training.) I just got problems with my pull-ups and running. A part of the problem is that I am too heavy. Is there any weight loss diets that you all would recommend?

I also got problems with finding a good exercise program. I know there is a program on here, but I do not have easy access to a pool. I also do not have easy access to a lot of weights. Is there any exercise programs that you all would recommend that puts a priority on endurance and does not have you use many kinds of weights, with minimal swimming? Also, is there any exercises I can do to condition my ankles for swimming that I can do at home?

I appreciate any feedback you may give (good or bad), and I hope you will be able to help me with this.

    Sincerely,
    K Young

Look up the PTG on here. It has everything. I don’t have a pool that is convenient to me but I usually turn the days I go into swim days or plan my day better. Swims are not every day so make time and mix it up a bit to fit your schedule. Good luck.
