  • Current Color Vision standards?

    Hello Everyone,

I was inquiring as to what the current color vison requirements to get a contract. I'm currently part of a civilian test program doing the Rabin CCT given to pilots in now the Airforce, Navy, and Army. It's been seemingly clear that the FALANT test is being phased out due to age. I did see an addendum called Change 164 in the NAVMED regarding the allowance of color vision waivers except for EOD. There isn't a lot of info on the current tests being given/allowed for any NSW jobs, and if there is a waiver for people who are under the set standard. The verbiage is very vague within the NAVMED section. Current USAF and Army requirements are 55/100 are passing on the CCT for aviation and SOF jobs. The navy implemented the test last year with the same requirements for only aviation.

    Thanks Much!
